Series Description
PROFILES: Women in the Arts & Technology NW is an episodic docu-short web/TV broadcast that takes you up close and personal to celebrate the lives of women working in the arts and technology in in the Pacific Northwest. These narratives offer empowerment and visibility.
So, join us as we continue to explore ways to document women artists as they crash the glass ceiling! This project is also being done in tandem with the “Support Women Artists Now” (SWAN DAY), the International grass roots movement, originally started by the founders at www.womenarts.org.
During Women’s History Month in March and beyond thousands of events celebrating women in the arts and creative industries occur internationally.
